Ulead VideoStudio 9 0 Video Editor

2 stars (Crash on me three times) - I ordered it, then Download the trial version on Ulead website. Atfer it crashed three times I decided to return the product. Other then that it was easy and straight forward to use. 5 stars (Fantasic Product - Very Easy To Use) - I downloaded a trial of this product about 30 days ago and the trial is about to expire. In those thirty days I went from knowing nothing about video editing to producing full projects and the ensuing DVD. This product is so easy to understand - with minimal amount of learning. I have tried several others, but none come close if you are not an experienced video editor. I guess the last thing I need to figure out is which formats work best, although I have transferred several analog vidoes and created voice dubbed DVD's using the DVD/Mpeg formats. I am very pleased with the end result. The price of this item makes it all very worthwhile. Dowmload the trial and use it for a month (go to the Ulead website). Since I am on my last day of the trial, I plan to purchase this item from Amazon, since they now have it even cheaper than the trial version ($79.99 vs $99.99). I worked with files that were so huge (1/2 GB to 1 GB), I was sure that they would crash the program - but no. I have not experienced any techincal problems whatsoever during the 30 day trial. I am very pleased with an umpire instuctional video that this program has allowed me to produce - with the end result being a very professional looking DVD. I have also transferred all of my old VHS family tapes and VHS-C camcorder tapes into digital format, thanks, in part, to this program. Added: Folks, if this program is crashing on you, I have to believe that it's because you need more RAM or a higher speed CPU. I worked with a 5 GB video file - and have absolutely no problems. If you are going to video edit - you need to have plenty of RAM. My computer is a Dell Dimension 8400 with a 3.2 Ghz CPU and I have 1 GB of RAM. I have absolute...
